The SAFD is currently accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

Responding to fire, rescue, and medical emergencies in the Village and surrounding Townships. Attend monthly training's and meetings and stay up do date on all state certifications. The SAFD is a paid per call Department.  Firefighters are paid per hour, per call and paid for attending monthly training's. Must live within 10 miles of the station. 

We provide all gear, schooling, and offer paid trainings and callouts. The SAFD is a paid per call Department. Firefighters are paid per hour, per call and paid for attending monthly training's and emergency technical team callouts.
